What is your Business?

In your free time, what are you doing to build a yourself a better future?

Businesses in the U.S. exist to drive a profit – but what do you concern yourself with?

Ever found yourself pondering about the essence of a business? Well, today, I’m flipping the script and turning the spotlight on you. That’s right – I want YOU to ponder three simple yet profound questions:

First up, what’s your business?

No, we’re not talking about your 9-to-5. We’re talking about your life – your passions, your goals, your dreams. What drives you? What makes you tick?

Is it collecting shoes and sharing your new purchases with your friends and family? Is it collecting nostalgic handheld video games and flipping them on the internet? What is the thing that you consider yourself to be an expert on?

Next question: what are you making? Now, we’re not talking about DIY projects or cooking adventures in the kitchen (although those are pretty cool too).

I’m talking about the legacy you’re building, the impact you’re leaving on the world. Are you making a difference in your community? Do you have a community that you feel home in? Are you making memories with loved ones? Whatever it is, own it – because what you’re making matters.

Last but certainly not least: what are you providing? This one’s all about the value you bring to the table – to your friends, your family, your community. Are you providing support, guidance, inspiration?

Are you providing laughter, love, kindness? Take a moment to consider the ripple effect of your actions because even the smallest gestures can make a world of difference.

So, I challenge you to ponder these questions and explore the depths of your own business. Consider what you do on a daily basis, think about it critically.

Because at the end of the day, your story is what shapes the world around you. And who knows? You just might discover a newfound sense of purpose and direction – all by asking yourself those three simple questions.

As always,
