And what it means for you…

It means nothing – no matter who is elected, it does not have a direct impact on you as an individual.

But, do you know what does have a direct impact on you as an individual? Your spending, saving and investing habits. Putting some money away for your future. Taking your cash and start voting with it – vote for your future (by changing your spending behaviors).

I’m voting on the success of the people and the companies that keep America running:

1. Microsoft (MSFT): The premier software development in the world. At the time of writing this, Microsoft is THE most valuable company in the world (June 2024). Why do I invest in MSFT?: Working for the Government, I see how over 90% of all of our information technology systems utilize Microsoft products to run day to day business. If the US Government uses Microsoft products, it’s safe to say its going to continue to get investment year over year. Plain and simple.
   
2. Apple (AAPL): The world’s second most valuable company. Arguably the ‘software rival’ of Microsoft; Apple is the brand king of the world. They could throw an Apple logo on a toilet and sell them in droves. Why do I invest in APPL?: The iPhone is commonly what’s referred to as their ‘premier’ product, but I would argue that they sell an ‘environment’. By making the majority of their products integrate with all of their other products, consumers are pulled into an environment that is hard to back out of once you go all in. Absolutely brilliant.
   
3. NVIDIA (NVDA): The world’s third most valuable company, famous for their graphics processors and chip-sets. Most notably, NVIDIA has become increasingly valuable as their hardware has been utilized worldwide in the information technology sector to push the upper limits of visual computing, cryptocurrency mining and the modern artificial intelligence push. Why do I invest in NVDA?: As more and more companies develop Algorithms and AI systems, they increasingly rely on world-class computing hardware- which NVIDIA continually develops.

So, regardless of who is voted in as the next president, it is safe to say that the economy will continue to truck along – so benefit from it. Invest in some of the top US companies and ride the wave of wealth!
